I am a man after God’s heart. I once wrote poems for the world but that was also when my life was full of shame, anxiety and guilt. I was completely lost.

Then I was tapped on the shoulder by Jesus. He came after me to completely redeem all I thought was wrong with me. Now my days are full of joy, peace and simplicity. Deciding to follow Jesus was the greatest decision of my life. I am in tears as I type this…

This is my story that the Lord is working on everyday. How I was once a poet for the world…and now I am Psalmist for God.

I am sure I will still write what resembles a poem from time to time but my focus is being a Psalmist…this site was once called jonthepoet but through prayer and writing I felt the need to change it to jonthePsalmist to align closer to my new identity in Christ!
