Dear Jesus,
my son you are here
and my heart leaps to make it clear
that a mothers love will always be near
i will forever treasure the gift of
carrying a child like you in a mother’s womb
the Son of the most High is here
and no longer will sin, fear, and evil loom
soon this light i see in you now will turn into a flame
a flame that forever burns away the reign of shame
and igniting a new hope that will never wane
Jesus, as your mother
i want you to know that no matter what you do
with me you always have a place
you always have plenty of space
and endless room
as your room is my whole heart
so once people meet the light and love of your presence
and truly are overwhelmed by the glow of your essence
you will fill the rooms of their hearts
until nothing is left
except with life giving touch of your transcendence
Jesus, i pray your ministry and God’s calling on your life
is what leads us into a new day
that your birth, your coming and your arrival will forever inspire a new way
i saw it in the shepherd’s faces
one moment with you gifted them
a renewed faith, a child like joy
and a firm foundation that will never sway
together we looked down at “a baby wrapped in clothes and lying in a manger”
a new life where never again will
we be able to see someone as a stranger
as the rest from your love and security reminds us
no longer do we have to fear any type of danger
my son, i pray you will always hold onto these words
staying wise and sage
as you carry our minds, hearts and souls into a new age
i pray all will listen and fully surrender to the beauty of your change
because the son of the Most High is here
our messiah is here
my son, my words can’t describe how joyful we are on this day
to say
you are here
so Jesus, one last thing i need you
to hold in your heart
and hold it oh so dear
that as you grow into the man
you are called to become
i hope you never forget
that no matter how the world might appear
i for one will always treasure your presence
and a mother’s love
will always be near
